Handbag Charm & Kilt Pin

On this handbag charn I have used a pack of Dress it up beads, head pins, chain and charms, from Crafters & Co. I do love the colours in this handbag charm.

This is a kilt pin I made to match the jumper that it has been photographed on. It is made with a mix of beads, head pins, chain and a couple of charms.

Two Weddings In One Week

After being "weddingless" for about eight years two came along in the same month. My husbands best mate invited us to his daughters wedding and then the following week we were invited to our neighbours wedding. I then set about making jewellery for the occasions. This is the necklace I made to go with my black beaded dress. It was made with head pins and a tub of Viking Loom beads from Crafters & Co and others in my stash.

This is the bracelet and earrings. I made them to go on one earring but they were to big. So I ended up with one pair for each wedding lol..........

Mothers Day Gift

After making the tag card and the photo cube I decided to use the same papers, (because I liked them so much) for my mother-in-laws mothers day card. I also used chipboard flowers.

Then I made her a necklace to match the paper lol........ I put it in a little pre scored bag ,all I had to do was fold, stick and add ribbon handles. (sorry not a great photo)

90th Photo Cube

This photo cube is what I made for my hubby's auntie for her 90th birthday a few weeks ago . It is made with basic grey papers called bitter sweet from Crafters & Co.

This is a tag card, I got the design from Crafters & Co. I made it in the same paper as the photo cube.

18th Birthday present

This is photos of my niece's 18th birthday present. I made a long necklace, bracelet and earrings to match. I used small silver square and round beads, large silver swirls and round beads with a pack of Dress it up beads and some seed beads all from Crafters & Co.

Then I wondered what to put them in, so I made an exploding box.........

..... I attached the necklace to the inside lid of the box with ribbon so it would come out when she lifted it.

I used my craft robo shape cutter to cut out the number 18. These are a few more close ups of the embellishments on the exploding box.

I used matching brads on these two, and added some seed beads to punched out flower

Mix & Match

This is the first charm bracelet I made from one tude of Viking Loom beads and head pins from Crafters & Co and there was still lots left..................

................So I made this necklace and earrings to match the bracelet from the left over beads, plus a few seed beads and headpins.

Don't forget about using old fashioned necklace that you don't like anymore. When my mother-in-law gave me an old string of beads I wondered what on earth I would do with them, lol........Then I took them apart and made this floating necklace with a pendant. I will show you another idea with this bead a little later.

Two For One

When I made these two necklace from one pack of " Dress it up beads " and a few seed beads from Crafters & Co, I was rather pleassed with the outcome.

On this one I used my own sterling silver and amber pendant then finished it off with a sterling silver lobster clasp.

My First Necklace Now I'm Hooked

Hi everyone this is my first proper post and my blog is going to be my crafting spot, I just hope someone is having a little look. I really don't know much about blogging so be gentle with me! I am going to photograph my pieces of jewellery from when I started and in between I will show you my CRAFTING things.

This lariat necklace was the first thing I made and it goes with so many things. It was made from one long string of beads and just knotted together. This is when I realised it was VERY addictive lol.....

This is the charm bracelet I made to match the lariat after a few months, I will show you my first one soon.

About TIARAS & TRINKETS

Tiaras & Trinkets are my passion. I discovered the love for jewellery making a few years ago and since then I am totally hooked. Every spare moment is filled trying new ideas and creating beautiful pieces of jewellery.

I have recently found a perfect outlet for my never ending passion. Making fairytale like tiaras, each one made with love, as if it was for my own niece. These tiaras are bespoke, original and the 'icing on the cake' they are Barbara C Designs and handmade on the causeway coast.

I have also recently made a bride very happy by arranging her bouquets, flowers for the cakes, table arrangments with, handmade wierwork butterflys and surprising her with an original bracelet matching the colours of her dress perfectly.
